Chestnut Hill Conference Lodge is beautifully situated on 6 acres of secluded gardens which are home to magnificent 100 year old trees and further surrounded by forests of mountain ash.
The surrounding region is known for it's unique tourist attractions, great walks, quirky shops, bed and breakfast accommodation and array of restaurants, wineries and dining opportunities. Chestnut Hill Conference Lodge is a "Hideaway in the Hills," just one hour's drive from Melbourne's CBD. A secluded and beautifully situated conference facility of heritage significance which occupies six acres of a historic hillside in the scenic Dandenong Ranges, some 1400ft (426 Metres) above sea level. This means that the venue is comparatively cool in summer and invigoratingly crisp in winter, especially during occasional snow flurries. A venue surrounded by impressive mountain ash forest, the contrast in the seasons offers its own special gifts; the vitality of summer, red and golden autumns, the flowers of spring and misty winter days. The Lodge was built in 1977 as a Christian retreat centre and extended by a subsequent owner in 1999 to today's capacity of 24 beds. The building incorporates
